Jim has been playing in bands since junior high school. During college and for a few years after he played in two all original power trios. He has played CBGB's, Max's Kansas City and other clubs in New York during the early 80's. While raising a family and working, Jim has been in and out of several cover bands. Most recently he spent 5 years with a local cover band playing many bars and clubs including the Stone Pony. Jim has recently joined the Southern Steel band and is very excited to be playing with an established quality band. He has always loved sitting behind the drums and looks forward to many years with this new opportunity.
